Industry Spotlight

FORKLIFT SAFETY SEMINARS - NEW NATIONAL LICENCING LAWS FOR FORKLIFTS WILL AFFECT EMPLOYERS AND OPERATORS, AS LEGISLATION WILL CHANGE IN EVERY STATE & TERRITORY.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT YOU, YOUR INDUSTRY AND YOUR BUSINESS?

New requirements are being introduced nationally, as a result of recent independent reviews of the current national certification arrangements for people performing high-risk work such as forklift operators.

The system for the training, assessment and licensing of high risk occupations will undergo substantial change from 1 July 2007 in line with new national safety standards.

This means employers who own forklifts, and operators, will be affected by the new licensing laws, which is part of a national agreement between workplace health and safety authorities in all Australian states and territories to transfer the assessment of competency to Registered Training Authorities and introduce renewable photographic licenses.

FORKLIFT SAFETY is holding seminars in your State and Territory which will specifically address these new and important issues.

If you are involved with forklifts it is imperative that you attend a seminar near you. Click here register.
